DEPARTMENT OF AUTOMOBILE ENGINEERING

 

VISION
To make universally equipped automobile engineers fit for working in an interdisciplinary situation and to be a foremost department in Automobile engineering and achieve the most elevated conceptual level society through development, business enterprise and leadership in the field of Automobile Engineering.

MISSION
M1: To grant outcome based education by inculcating the essential necessities of worldwide vehicle area through Institute Association.
M2: To apply Engineering techniques, learning, and professional norms applicable to state – art - of Automobile Engineering in numerous parts of present day life where it assumes an essential part.
M3:  To give enrich graduates to accomplish the best of their capacities to be innovators or employment suppliers.
M4: To build up the department as community for magnificence by giving coordinated organized modules in learning and research environment mirroring the global research skill.

The Program Educational Objectives (PEOs):
PEO1: Graduates shall excel in their professional career in automobile industry and research with highest professional andethical standards to their activities by acquiring knowledge in basic engineering, mathematics, science and automobile engineering.

PEO2: Graduates shall exhibit professionalism, team work in their chosen profession and adapt to current trends, technologies and industrial scenarios by pursuing lifelong learning.

 PEO3: Graduate might create employment by being a business person.

 

Program specific outcomes(PSO’s)

PSO 1: To prepare graduates  for effective vocations in industry that meets the addresses of the issues of Industries/society and the nation, also to lead graduates to acknowledge new difficulties for multi -disciplinary ventures in  Automobile Engineering
PSO 2: To build up the capacity among graduates to combine information and specialized ideas for application to Autotronics stream.

 

Programme Outcomes (PO)

    Engineering programme must demonstrate that their students attain the following outcomes:

>>    Graduate will demonstrate strong basics in mathematics, science and Engineering.

 

>>    Graduate will demonstrate the ability to design and conduct Experiments, as well as to analyze and interpret data. >>    Graduate will demonstrate the ability to design a system, component or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and Safety, manufacturability and sustainability

 

>>    Graduate will become familiar with modern Engineering tools and analyse the problems within the domains of Automobile Engineering as the members of multidisciplinary teams. >>    Graduate will acquire the capability to identify, formulate and solve complex engineering problems related to Automobile Engineering

 

>>    Graduate will demonstrate and understanding of professional and ethical responsibility with reference to their career in the field of Automobile Engineering >>    Graduate will be able to communicate effectively both in verbal non-verbal forms

 

>>    Graduate will be trained towards developing the impact of development of Automobile engineering on global, economic environment and societal contex >>    Graduate will be capable of understanding the value for life-long learning

 

>>    Graduate will demonstrate knowledge of contemporary issues focusing on the necessary to develop new material, design, and engineering practice in the field of Automobile Engineering

 

>>    Graduate will demonstrate the ability to use the techniques, skills and Modern engineering tools necessary for engineering practice in the field of Automobile Engineering >>    Graduate will have a firm scientific, technological and communication base that helps them either to find a desire placement or to become an Entrepreneur and explore their knowledge in their field.

 

>>    Graduate will be capable of doing higher studies and research in inter and multi-disciplinary areas.
